Forex Headlines – Worldwide Economy Global Risks 2008
At the beginning of the month or in fact the year we see the release of a report on Global risks for 2008 brought to us by World Economic Forum (WEF)
The report focused on deregulation causing the financial markets to evolve in the last two decades,innovation came from multiple economies and finance opened up globally.
The report also deemed that such growth and financial revolution had in effect impacted on the entire financial system exposing markets to what is currently an ongoing turmoil. The big financial credit crunch seen in the US saw the report highlighting concern and the possibility of a US recession. A debate was sparked about whether Asia could rescue the US market.
Vulnerability of the economy with the UK focused on as being prominent in the European financial sector thought to be a cause, was also highlighted.
New thought processes are required on financial risk and principles.
