European Market Trading Lower

The recent rally in equities is causing speculation to market participants who don’t believe there was a solid foundation, the European indices are currently trading lower in the session.

On the upside European government bonds in the UK are trading more positively on the back of equity market declines. The Swiss GDP was unchanged from the first-quarter.Investment in machinery has seen an increase.

The Spanish levels of unemployment has seen a somewhat unexpected increase to 2.03M Unchanged forecasts have been seen from the EU Commission as the GDP was released overnight.

Wheat Prices Holding Russia May Impose Export Ban

Wheat prices are at near record levels today and there are reports of Russia possible banning exports of grain or imposing tariffs on overseas sales with the hope of bringing the local bread prices down.

The anxiety about wheat prices has grown even more now, especially after all time record highs in Paris, London and Chicago were seen last week and the potential of prices continuing to get higher.
